More ideas for a Baby Registry Gift...

My cousin is having her baby shower in June. The nursery is an Airplane and Train theme so the Vintage Airplane Diaper Cake will be a perfect gift for her. However, I decided to view her baby registry to get some ideas for creative ways to present registry gifts.

The first step is to set your budget. Once you have your budget go for like items. In my last post we talked about Bath gifts. It is the same concept. Sheets and blankets would be like items. Health items, such as thermometers, nasal aspirators, medicine syringes, etc. Feeding items, such as bottles, bibs, burp cloths. I think you get the idea now.

Your container should be practical, such as the bath tub. Most likely mommy to be is going to need lots of places to put all these little things. Baskets and canvas totes are great for storage.

Putting your basket together. You do not need to fill your container from the bottom to the top. In fact, you want to sit the items near the top. Fill the bottom with an empty box, or newsprint, then with a decorative shred or tissue. You'll use less of the expensive decorative shred, especially if your basket is deep.

Prop your items on top and secure with tape or ribbon to keep them from sliding. Wrap with tulle and a big bow. You have a unique gift basket that is within your budget and no one else will have.

Bathtime Gift From a Baby Registry

Many parents to be create a Baby Registry. If you intend to purchase a baby shower gift from a Baby Registry then why not get creative with the presentation. Here are a few ideas...

A Bathtime Gift

If a baby bath tub is on the Baby Registry take it out of the box and fill it with all kinds of bathtime goodies. Be sure to include baby washcloths, hooded towels, shampoo & baby wash. Don't forget some bath toys! Wrap your gift in tulle with a big bow.

More to come later......
